Hello, my name is Fiona,

your midwife and course presenter. Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy.

This course is tailoured to meet the needs of parents who want to learn about the practical elements of pregnancy, child birth, breast feeding and parenting from a supportive, pragmatic and unbiased point of view.

Antenatal classes are not just an opportunity to learn but are also a time to get excited about the arrival of your baby. You are preparing for the best day of your life.

The lead up to chldbirth should be an exciting time and an opportunity for expectant parents to learn and share new experiences.

I believe that a parent who is informed is more confident, there is nothing as important as good advice when you are expecting your first baby.

This parenting business is the most bizarre, challenging but often hilarious journey that you'll ever take.

By taking this antenatal class you will be informed, empowered and crucially, you won't take one step of this road alone.
