Looking to run a better performing Adwords campaign?
The focus of any good Google Adwords campaign should be on sales
You want to reach buyers searching for products or services. People with intention to buy now or in the future. You don't want to pay to attract browsers or window shoppers to your website.
Below are 4 suggested keywords to remove from your Google Adwords campaign. Get more out of your budget.
"Free". Who doesn't like free? We like free. Give away free quotations, tips or advice. But don't pay for someone who searches the word "free" to come to your website. Someone who types in "Free Website Design Dublin", is probably not going to pay for a website.
"Jobs" / "Employ" / "Employment". People searching these words are probably looking for a job or work, rather than to buy from you.
"What" / "Why" / "How" / "Learn" / "Education" / "Educate" / "Secret" / "Secrets" / "Tips". These keywords suggest someone looking to learn about your trade, which is totally fine, just don't pay to have them visit your website.
"DIY". Similar to "Free". Someone typing in "DIY Web Design" is looking to Design a Website themselves.
Lastly, set your location to where you intend to sell. If you are only selling in Ireland, don't pay for someone in Dubai to visit your website.
And that's it! We hope you found this post helpful, please comment / share so that others can learn too!
